This month, you’ll see a certain colour popping up around town on things like ribbons, vehicles and an untold variety of products lining store shelves — in pink, the official colour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Over the years, awareness campaigns have saved countless women’s lives by bringing what was originally a hushed conversation to light, as they benefit from the knowledge that breast cancer isn’t an automatic death sentence.
With that, here’s your chance to help make a difference by supporting these brands with their fundraising initiatives:
1. Pink October Dining Specials at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
To kick-start the month of pink, Shangri-La Hotel has lined up some exciting promotions through its ‘Pink Pals of Shang KL’ campaign from 1 – 31 October 2017. All dining outlets at the hotel — Lemon Garden 2Go, Shang Palace, Lobby Lounge — will be serving ‘pink specials’ where RM5 from each item purchased will be contributed to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association of Malaysia (BCWA).
Call 03-2074 3900 or email restaurantreservations.slkl@shangri-la.com for further information on the campaign and dining specials.
