Following a series of gruelling auditions and roadshows held across Malaysia, the Top 18 finalists for the 2018 Miss Universe Malaysia have now been revealed. These potential talents were handpicked based on their values and attributes that best echo a Miss Universe Malaysia on the global stage.
Only one lady will be crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2018, but all of them will be guided, mentored and groomed into becoming confident women through this life-changing platform which will further open doors for them. Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 Kimberley Leggett will be hosting Miss Universe Malaysia 2018, and ZALORA is on board as a title sponsor.
The 18 finalists will live together to undergo Boot Camp, whereby they will be put through a slew of training sessions pertaining to pageant knowledge, catwalk training, grooming, fitness, styling and more. The 20 webisodes will be showcased on www.hurr.tv beginning December 2017, or watch the series on DIVA or DIVA HD (Astro Ch 702 & 703).
The grand crowning of Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 will happen at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur on January 24th 2018, and she will travel abroad to represent our country at the international Miss Universe pageant. She will also receive a cash prize of RM50,000, sponsored prizes worth over RM150,000, and an education scholarship from HELP University.
