October is finally here, and for beer enthusiasts everywhere, that can only mean one thing – Oktoberfest! But if you’re a fan of both beer and spas, here’s a little something that’s going to make your Oktoberfest a whole lot better.
In conjunction with the popular Oktoberfest in Germany, the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort introduces the ‘Enriching Beer Therapy’ – a special spa package utilising the nourishing properties of the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage.
The 2-hour spa journey starts off with an aromatic Beer Mint Bubble Bath that cleanses the body from top to toe. Europe started the beer bath centuries ago as the alcohol beverage contains nutrients that are great for the skin, especially when it comes to increasing elasticity and circulation. Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones swears by beer’s hair-smoothing results, and we’ve got a feeling that we’ll be dunking our heads if we find ourselves in a tub full of beer.
The journey continues with an exfoliating Beer Scrub, drawing out impurities through active ingredients like orange peel, Oryza salt rice powder and cranberry seed. Once the skin has been gently polished to a healthy glow, an hour-long full-body massage takes place, leaving you completely relaxed.
But what’s a beer spa journey without a pint of beer, amirite? After being thoroughly spoiled, guests are then treated to a frothy pint at the colonial Elephant Bar!
We’re not sure about you, but the Enriching Beer Therapy at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort sounds like a legit reason to make a trip to BKK before 30th Nomber 2017.
The ‘Enriching Beer Therapy’ package lasts for two hours and is priced at THB 3,900++ (approximately RM494++) per person and THB 7,600++ (approximately RM963++) per couple. The package is until 30 November 2017. For more on Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, access here.
