Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid are two supermodels that, time and time again, have proven themselves to be dominant in the industry, on or off fashion’s grandest runways.
Needless to say, you’d think that there’s probably some sort of sibling competition or rivalry going on behind the scenes between the two Hadids, but Bella has quashed that notion in her latest interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s October 2017 issue.
“Most of the time our markets are completely different and if we get booked on a job and she gets it or I get it, we’re both happy for each other,” she explained. “There are enough jobs in the world for both of us,” adding, “There’s no reason for us to be mad at each other or competitive. So if she gets it, then good for her.” Aww..
Boasting over 15 million followers on her Instagram account, the model also acknowledges the unfair standards and pressures placed on women today.
She is also hoping to put her voice to good use, “If I can’t talk about something that I’m passionate about, why even be here? Why even do any of the stuff that I’m doing if I can’t make a better purpose for the world, or make a difference, or try to put light on a situation that is obviously so dark?”
“It’s all really scary…If I’m able to change something in the world for the better, then I’ll be ecstatic.”
Doesn’t she look stunning?
