Rihanna is flying high right now. With the launch of her new Fenty Beauty line and her spring ’18 collection for Puma, it seems as though she’s all anyone is talking about at the moment.
But according to some users on Twitter, not all the chatter is good. Some fans have been skewering a particular shoe from her new Fenty x Puma collection, calling the new heeled flip flop “ugly as hell,” and expressing that they could “never move forward with these.”
The flip flop heels designed by the “Umbrella” singer come in several different colourways, featuring a sporty twist with its buckle ankle-strap which looks like an ankle monitor bracelet (aka the homing device that defendants under house arrest or parole are required to wear).
Fetch.
Surprisingly, even Rihanna’s hardcore fans don’t seem to be overly-enamoured with the release. The chunky heel allows you to stand tall in the comfortable holiday gear, but we feel like the combination might be.. too edgy?
While reactions to the game-changing flip flop heels were mostly negative, some Twitter users (we see you Riri’s die-hard-fans) are still excited for the new collection:

On another note, due to the major success of Rihanna’s new Fenty Beauty collection, some fans are starting to wonder where the name “Fenty” actually came from.
Well.. in case you missed it (guys, I’m about to rock your world) Bad Gal Riri’s full name is actually Robyn Rihanna Fenty. 💥
FENTY IS RIHANNA'S LAST NAME SAY WHAT 😆😩😩😩 I am the worst fan ever pic.twitter.com/Kp4D6HbdF3
