It’s been a while since Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington died of suicide at age 41; and yet we still very much feel the pain his family and friends are going through.
On World Suicide Prevention Day yesterday, his widow Talinda Bennington shared a heartbreaking video of Chester about 36 hours before he took his own life in July.
My next tweet is the most personal tweet I have ever done. I’m showing this so that you know that depression doesn’t have a face or a mood.

She tweeted, “My next tweet is the most personal tweet I have ever done. I’m showing this so that you know that depression doesn’t have a face or a mood.”
She then shared the home video with the caption, “This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him. #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud.”

The short video shows Chester and their children with Talinda doing the BeanBoozled jelly bean challenge, testing out random jelly bean flavours.
It just goes to show how depression isn’t always observable..
