Congratulations to the happy couple!
Chinese celebrity couple Fan Bingbing and Li Chen have announced their engagement on Instagram, after dating for about two years. Li, 38, proposed to the A-list actress at her 36th birthday party on Saturday.
She also captioned the slew of photos of the couple from her birthday party in an Instagram post, “It’s us, forever<3” The actor also posted a photo of that moment on Chinese social networking site Weibo, saying, “Us, forever…”
For the special occasion, Li successfully convinced Canadian artist Marina Bychkova to customise a princess bride doll, after hounding her for months on end with emails containing photos and videos of the couple.
The good-looking couple met at the 2014 set of drama The Empress of China, and in a previous interview, Fan disclosed that she had to woo him and ask him out for their first date. Aww!
