Asia’s premier gin festival is back! To kick-start the celebrations across Asia, first up is the East Imperial Gin Jubilee in Kuala Lumpur. Catered for all gin lovers for four consecutive days from 13 Sept – 16 Sept 2017, the events will be held at a total of 21 bars across the city.
With three national jubilees held in Singapore, and the inaugural regional jubilee held last year, the festival seeks to spread gin culture across Asia, with individual jubilees in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh, Singapore, and a new addition this year – Shanghai.
The Gin Jubilee will include a city-wide ‘Best Gin & Tonic’ competition for local bars, as well as a Gin Ramble bar crawl — with the 4-day long celebration set to conclude in the Gin Lane Street Party KL, held at Jalan Batai Damansara Heights.
Entry to Gin Lane is complimentary, and gin enthusiasts have the opportunity to try out some of the participating bars’ Gin & Tonic creations in the run for ‘Best Gin & Tonic’ title in Kuala Lumpur. The winner of the competition will be announced on 17 September 2017.
