And as the athletes set the SEA Games alight with their outstanding performances, we’ve got our eyes on these swoon-worthy Malaysian athletes:

1. Ahmad Amsyar Azman, Diving – Ahmad Amsyar contributed in getting Malaysia 2 gold medals during the 2013 and 2015 SEA Games. This year is no exception for Amsyar – boy won us another gold medal this year (on his birthday, no less) while looking this good.
2. Welson Sim, Swimming – At the tender age of 20, Welson has already beaten Olympic champion Mack Horton in June at the Mare Nostrum Tour Swimming Championship in June. This dream-boat went ahead and won us another gold medal this year for men’s swimming 200m!
3. S. Senthil Kumaran, Karate – Senthil’s got the looks, the bod and the chops – quite literally. He scored his second SEA Games gold after putting up a great fight in the men’s kumite below 60kg final.
4. Julian Yee, Figure Skating – This figure skating cutie is 20 and already skating his way into the hearts of girls everywhere. He also contributed a gold medal to the Malaysian Gold Medal Tally!
5. Nauraj Singh, High Jump – Nauraj is a high jump athlete who won the gold medal in the 2013 and 2015 SEA Games. This year, Nauraj makes a comeback with his charming smile, winning another gold medal.
6. Riki Shinozuka, Triathlon – Is Riki Shinozuka fit or what? Riki competed in the SEA Games triathlon and won Malaysia a silver. But trust us when we say that we could stare at him all day.
7. Matt Davies, Football – The Australian-Malaysian Matt Davies plays as a right back for Pahang in the Malaysia Super League. When we’re not watching him play football, we’re admiring those sharp jaws.
8. Irfan Shamshuddin, Discus Throw – Fondly known as The Beast, the Malaysian Discus Thrower stands tall and hunky at 6’2. He also happens to hold the SEA games record for furthest throw at 59.50m set.
