Often times, there is no such thing as one size fits all and this notion also applies to the skin. Using a clay-based face mask would properly detoxify the T-zone but leave the rest of the skin grossly flaky, and on the other end of the spectrum, a moisturising face mask would hydrate the cheek area, but leave the T-zone a tad bit greasy. There is just no in-between.. until multi-masking that is!
So what exactly is it? Multi-masking involves utilising multiple skin treatments simultaneously to address various concerns on the different areas of the face, essentially customising your own skin remedy. Got an acne-prone chin, clogged nose area and dry undereyes? Use a salicylic acid infused mask on the chin, a charcoal or clay-based mask on the nose and a hydrating one for under the eyes all at once.
