Uh oh.. the human race may be extinct sooner than we thought. According to research and reports, sperm count is on a brand new low across the world and evidently, this affects reproduction.

A new research published in Human Reproductive Update also attests that the sperm count surveyed across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand is down by 50% in less than 40 years. The research assessed 185 studies conducted between the years 1973 and 2011.

Researcher Dr. Hagai Levine calls for a lifestyle change, and if not, he says the problem, “may be the extinction of the human species.”

There are a ton of reasons that may be contributing to this decrease, and they include the chemicals in food we consume, diet, smoking, stress, ironically, watching too much television, and even wearing pants or underwear that is way too tight.
