For Fall 2017, Kate Spade New York travels to 1920’s Paris – a creative melting pot that encouraged strong and interesting women to shine.
The collection is a tribute to heroines who defy expectations. Inspiration is drawn from three original rule-breakers: Louise Brooks, the quintessential flapper, a mysterious and bold local beauty painted by Kees Van Dongen and finally, Josephine Baker, an American who followed her dreams to Paris and became a global jazz age icon.
This fall, model and architecture aficionado Fernanda Ly returns as the Kate Spade New York girl to bring the collection to life in her own unique way. Having just returned from a trip to Paris, Fernanda Ly stops at a classic New York diner for steak frites, with her vintage finds (and cats) in tow.
“Fernanda captures our brand aesthetic perfectly, and truly embodies the kate spade new york girl. This season, she helps us turn an everyday occurance into a extraordinary moment of joy” shared Deborah Lloyd, President and Chief Creative Officer of Kate Spade New York.
