Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral revs things up with the launch of a new addition to its food and beverage offerings. Introducing Re:Fuel On Wheels, Aloft KL’s very own food truck which serves street grub at the porte-cochère of the hotel, marking it as the first hotel in Kuala Lumpur with a food truck service.
Aimed to cater to busy urbanites and fast paced millennials, the food truck was born with a menu designed to provide quick bites for on-the-go crowd and for diners looking for comfort food that is simple and fuss free.
Re:Fuel On Wheels is a derivation from the hotel’s 24-hour grab and go concept store, offering self-serve gourmet eats where customers can order healthy lip-smacking food from a truly appetising menu.
Breakfast, served from 7am to 9am on weekdays, will offer local delights for RM8 consisting of Fried Noodle with Fried Chicken, Chicken Porridge and Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken. The western options are also priced ar RM8 which include Burger and Toast, Turkey Ham Burger with Scrambled Eggs as well as French Toast. On top of that, breakfast lovers can enjoy bottled fruit juices for only RM3 and coffee for RM10.
Also available on the menu are the Cold Selections of Tuna Sandwich, Egg Sandwich, Chicken Tortilla Roll, Vegetarian Ciabatta Sandwich and Granola Yogurt in a Cup for RM7. Meanwhile, the lunch menu starts selling from 11am to 3pm on weekdays, serving Sarawak Laksa, Chicken Rice, Beef Rendang and Dry Wanton Noodle for RM10.
The food truck will mainly be stationed at the hotel’s porte cochere along Jalan Stesen Sentral and operates for breakfast and lunch periods on weekdays with plans for it to available for hire at external venues such as private events, corporate functions and social gatherings in the near future.
