Raja Ilya Doesn’t Mind Getting Plastic Surgery For A Marvel Role

For the sake of her role in Marvel’s upcoming movie a.k.a her first acting gig in Hollywood, Malaysian actress Raja Ilya is willing to take the risk of making changes on her appearance by going under the knife.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body — a method often opted by celebrities to achieve aesthetic perfection.

According to the 32-year-old actress, she has to make some sacrifices in order to be seen comparable to other international stars. Hence, early preparation needs to be done, including a little knife action and generating body muscles.

“The international film company has been very kind to accept actors from Asia, especially Muslim talents, but for my career and this golden opportunity, I’m willing to take risks.”

“I still hold on to my religion and they know I’m a Muslim, but I tell them that I’m open-minded. They like my skin colour and want to keep it as it is. Although there is no compulsion, I feel the need to make some changes to myself to be seen as an international artist,” remarked Raja Ilya.

Not planning to partake in nude scenes or events that could affect her name, Raja Ilya, however, admitted that the film will have a scene requiring her to dress sexy like Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot).

“When acting on the big screen which is not just for viewing in Malaysia, I think I have to sacrifice a little. I do not want any screw ups in terms of acting, talent and appearance as I will also be carrying the name of this country.”

The gorgeous actress also stated that there’s a company willing to extend sponsorship to refine her body shape. “In fact, there is a clinic trying to sponsor me from top to toe. They’re not doing it because I’m a celebrity, but for my appearance in this movie.”

Raja Ilya continued, “They can help me to reveal body muscles without having to go to the gym. Since I don’t always have time to go to the gym, it’s a great way to get my desired body quickly.” The film also requires the actress to practice running, in which she would undergo training to improve stamina in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York or London early next year.

Scheduled to go to the United States in December, Raja Ilya revealed that she wouldn’t be able to accept any projects in the country throughout 2018 to focus on this Marvel film. “I’ll come back to Malaysia, but I’ll fly to the US when they need my character,” said the actress, who will appear in KL Vampire this August.

The title of Raja Ilya’s Marvel film is yet to be announced.
