Internet star and TV personality Stevie Ryan, best known for YouTube channel and VH1 comedy series Stevie TV, was found dead Saturday at her residence in what the L.A. County Coroner’s Office has ruled as a suicide by hanging. She was 33.

Ryan’s big break came with her YouTube series called Little Loca which accumulated millions of viewers with her celebrity impressions. She went on to star in her own sketch comedy series Stevie TV and she co-hosted the short-lived Sex with Brody talk show on E! with Brody Jenner and relationship therapist Dr. Mike Dow.

The news of Stevie’s passing comes days after the actress revealed on her Mentally Ch(ill) podcast — which is said to focus on depression — that her grandfather had died recently.

In her podcast, the 33-year-old questioned whether his death could send her into a deeper depression. “The man of my dreams will now only be in my dreams. I’ll miss you everyday, forever. I love you my Pa, ” she wrote.

A native of Victorville, Ryan launched her Web career dabbling with a video camera and making posts on YouTube of herself portraying crazy characters. “Little Loca,” who Ryan said was inspired by “tough chicks” she knew growing up, became a YouTube hit.

Drake Bell, who dated the actress from 2005-2006, mourned the death of his former flame on Twitter along with a 2006 photo of them, “This is too much. My heart is crushed. @StevieRyan I love you and miss you.” Meanwhile, Kristen Carney, a longtime collaborator, also expressed her grief on on Twitter: “RIP StevieRyan The coolest girl I’ve ever known.”
