Robin Williams’ 1995 Jumanji is one of those memorable movies that is probably heavily embedded into our childhoods, and though we are looking forward to The Rock’s 2017 remake Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, we already know it’s going to be super different than the original judging by the new trailer.
The remake puts a unique spin on the 1995 Jumanji plot and instead of having characters popping out from a board game, they are going to get sucked into a video console game. The concept is kind of similar, although the latest film highlights a group of teenagers who then pick up individual characters in Jumanji and get transported into it.

The teenagers are put through hell to survive in that alternate universe, but their avatars – played by The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan – each have special powers. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle drops late December in 2017 and we can’t wait!
