Vaseline recently introduced its global aid effort, the Vaseline Healing Project, for the first time in Malaysia. Partnering locally with prominent volunteer relief organisation HOPE Worldwide Malaysia, the initiative is aimed at helping underprivileged and vulnerable communities in Malaysia, to regain healthy skin. Also joining The Vaseline Healing Project in Malaysia is celebrity social activist Daphne Iking.

The Vaseline Healing Project is a global initiative that was created to provide dermatological care to those affected by adverse living conditions and those recovering from emergency situations. Today, Malaysia joins the brand’s global mission to heal the skin of 5 million people by 2020, together with ongoing initiatives taking place from Jordan all the way to South Africa.

The Vaseline Healing Project in Malaysia will support HOPE Worldwide Malaysia’s Medical Program – a service for underprivileged and vulnerable communities that not only provides them free access to basic healthcare, but also education about sanitation and hygiene.

Vaseline also encourage consumers to be a part of this initiative by providing a platform for them to help through the Vaseline Healing Project. From 1st June – 31st August 2017, consumers will be able to donate to the Vaseline Healing Project in Malaysia by purchasing any Vaseline product. With each purchase of a Vaseline product, RM1.00 will be donated to the Vaseline Healing Project.

Discovered in 1870, Vaseline Jelly is the original dry skin restorer. Utilising a unique dry skin restoring mechanism, Vaseline Jelly penetrates dry skin to create an intercellular occlusive layer deep within the affected skin and helps fill in intercellular lipids, the skin’s natural barrier to help lock in moisture. Over the years, Vaseline Jelly has been used to help restore the skin of oil riggers, polar explorers, and even doctors and solders in war zones.
