Helmed by photographer Filippo Del Vita, and illustrated by Laura Garcia Serventi, Charles & Keith’s latest collection Efflorescence is a discussion of the birth of ideas. Just as the flowers that bloom in spring, new ideas that come about are often born unexpectedly, from complexity, contradiction and most importantly, perspective.
The collection makes use of earthy tones and nomadic influences to create easy-to-wear styles that extend to gladiator heels, lace up sandals and slip on flats. Littered with feminine embroidery and pom pom details, the series speaks of bohemia and wanderlust.
The sense of ease and casualness is carried on to the context of a creative space, bringing about the expression that ideas are free to bloom.
