British singer, Phil Collins has been rushed to the hospital after a fall in his London hotel room left him with a severe gash near his eye that required stitches.
The musician’s management confirmed in a statement that his Thursday and Friday night concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall have been postponed until November.
“Phil suffers from ‘drop foot’ as a result of a back operation which makes it difficult to walk,” the post explained. “He rose in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and slipped in his hotel room, hitting his head in the fall on a chair. He was taken to hospital where he had stitches for a severe gash on his head close to his eye and is recovering well. He will be kept under observation for 24 hours.”
Foot drop is a gait abnormality in which the dropping of the forefoot happens due to weakness. The 66-year-old former Genesis star, who suffers from a gait abnormality after a back operation, tripped over a chair in the middle of the night. He was given stitches for the cut on his head and will be kept under observation for 24 hours.
Collins is expected to continue his comeback tour in Cologne, Germany, on Sunday before performing at British Summer Time Hyde Park on June 30. Fans took to social media to express alarm and well-wishes to the singer.

I'm not suprised Phil Collins fell, he's been singing for years about how he can't walk.
