Fake Tear Makeup Is Now A Thing In Case You Need To ‘Ugly Cry’ To Get Your Way

For all of you who love a good cry once in a while, this peculiar Instagram trend goes out to you. Not to be confused with glitter tears, makeup artists on Instagram are now creating fake tears with makeup that look spectacularly real.

One makeup artist who has attempted the look include Laura Kalmakoff who goes by ColourCreepp on social media and according to Allure, she dribbles clear lip gloss down her face.

With that said, she concurs that using water-activated face paint is better as lip gloss is runny and will move about all over quickly.

Besides clear gloss, setting spray seems to be a great alternative, and so is good ol’ Elmer’s glue as demonstrated by the YouTube tutorial above.

The next time you’re upset at someone, deliver with your most glam fake tear makeup look and call it a day instead of crying.
