In case you were wondering if the craze with brows is over, it’s really not.
Bored with basic brows, makeup artists are taking them to level of extra. Feather brows and barbed wire brows are now like, so yesterday. So now, everyone’s just carving their brows like it’s a thing.
Created by Austin, Texas-based makeup artist Alexa Link, this edged-out look involves creating a sharp outline of your brows using eye shadow.
Allure first discovered the smoky look after Link’s post recently went viral, garnering more than 11,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Since then, her brow art has inspired other makeup artists to create their own carved brows.

Right now, it feels like a new trend is popping up daily and we can barely keep up. And if we’re being completely honest, we’re kind of over these brow trends so we’re sticking to our basic brows for now.
