As a ’90s kid, one unforgettable yet now seemingly ancient childhood staple of ours is the good ol’ Nintendo gaming console that has, accumulatively, consumed hours and hours of our days.
Feeling all nostalgic already? You can now relive that part of your childhood, or rather, fill that void, as Uniqlo is reviving some of your favourite Nintendo characters in the form of Uniqlo UT T-shirts.
Via its Nintendo-themed Uniqlo T-shirt (UT) Grand Prix 2017 design contest which garnered 16,000 entries worldwide, the Japanese fast fashion label will have all its 25 winning designs made available for purchase.
Amongst the fun and timeless characters featured on the designs include Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Kirby Splatoon and of course, the beloved Pokémon.

Comprising 15 designs for men and 8 for women and kids, the winning design that is the most favoured showcases a pixelated Mario motif, with the artwork courtesy of Takashi Kawazoe from Japan.
The Uniqlo UT Grand Prix 2017 T-Shirts will go on sale online beginning May 15 2017, with prices ranging at RM39.90 for Kids, and RM59.90 for Men and Women.
