Named after the house code for Burberry’s signature honey-coloured gabardine, the new DK88 collection is a tribute to the fabric at the heart of Burberry’s history.
Made in Italy, each bag is crafted with the incredibly rich Trench Leather, in which the material replicates the distinctive twill finish of cotton gabardine, the cloth invented and patented by Thomas Burberry in 1888 and used today to make Burberry’s signature trench coats.
The result? A collection of gorgeous bags in strong colours ranging from black, dark navy, honey tan, antique red and dark forest green, to softer hues of slate blue, blossom pink, ash rose and celadon green, designed to look effortlessly elegant and unmistakably British.
The top handle’s timeless silhouette is defined by its oversize lock and sculptured handle, featuring seven different styles including satchel and luggage-inspired shapes which come with adjustable leather crossbody strap to allow for hands-free carrying.
On top of that, a number of selected designs are equipped with oversize brass tone lock and an internal pocket made especially for the accompanying key.
