H&M just unveiled its fashion collab with Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson!
The capsule collection is inspired by the “Ain’t My Fault” singer’s personal style with pieces that feature strong graphics and edgy streetwear pieces. Known for her playful and empowering songs, the Zara Larsson >< H&M capsule collection reflects the personality of fierce and feminine women as well as the pop star’s personal style.
Pieces such as an oversized hoodie and t-shirt dress, both emblazoned with hot pink graphics and strong feminist messages are present along with body-con shorts and tops, balancing out the capsule collection. Expect lots of pinks with silver and black as complements as well as velour, denim, mesh fabric and cotton jersey as main materials.
“I am really excited to finally share my collection with H&M. I have had so much fun working with them to design pieces and create a campaign that reflects my personality. I can’t wait to see how girls everywhere wear the pieces to add to their own personal style,” says Zara Larsson.
Zara was very much a part of the design process, having a say in everything from the prints and colours to cut and fit. For instance, pink was chosen not only because it’s one of her favourite colours, but also because “it’s feminine, powerful and everyone looks good in it,” according to her.
With the release of Zara Larsson’s first full-length album So Good and this super fun capsule with H&M, 2017 is already turning out to be a great year for the Swedish pop sensation.
The limited Zara Larsson >< H&M capsule collection, which includes clothes and accessories will be available at H&M Lot 10, Avenue K and Sunway Pyramid from 18 May. For more information on H&M, access here.
