Makeup artist and Vlada Haggerty, who made headlines for threatening to sue Kylie Jenner for copying her artwork, just took on the role as Smashbox Cosmetics’ Lip Editor in Chief and created the most expensive lipstick design ever in history.
Haggerty and celeb-approved jewelry designer Zoe Chico used Smashbox’s Be Legendary Liquid Metal, Be Legendary Liquid Pigment, and a whopping 6.5 carats of diamonds to design the world’s Most Valuable Lip Art, according to the Guinness World Records.
The complete lip look, embellished with gold leaf and 80 diamonds, was estimated to have costed at US$26,500. There was even a security guard present during the creation of the lip look to protect the precious stones. Wow, just wow..
