Kuala Lumpur’s craziest comedy festival, LOL Fest 2017 returns for the second time around, featuring 50 comedians, improv acts, vaudevillian silent comedy and ‘Laugh-a-thon’ sessions by an eclectic mix of popular and upcoming local and international comedy performers, from 24 March 24 to 15 April 2017.
With Kumar from Singapore, Japanese duo Gamarjobat and Malaysia’s Joanne Kam as the headliners, the specially produced and curated shows will feature Japanese comedy, bilingual comedy, improvisation comedy and a variety of stand-up comedy shows.
“We are excited for this year’s line-up. LOL Events has worked hard at establishing a platform to support emerging and renowned talents in the region, who have also involved the local community and the entertainment industry,” said Rizal Kamal, LOL Events CEO. “We believe that people should learn to laugh more, and at times, engage in conversations sparked by the social commentaries in the comedy acts.”
