After months of sheer anticipation and hoarding Beauty and the Beast themed products ’cause they’re just too pretty, the live-action reiteration of Disney’s animated classic is finally hitting Malaysian cinemas next week (30 March), after much hoo-ha!
Sticking to the original music and well-loved characters from the tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast will see the journey of the beautiful and independent Belle (Emma Watson) who gets taken prisoner by a Beast (Dan Stevens) in his castle.
Albeit fearful, Belle befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and gradually looks beyond the Beast’s hideous looks to reveal the kind heart and soul of a prince.
