The beauty industry is forever booming, but it reigns supreme in Asia whereby the consumers’ appetite for innovative and cutting edge products are consistently spurring new demand, sometimes even paving the way for Western beauty trends to follow suit.
One of these countries that have tenaciously contributed to the exceedingly high per capital spending and sales is Japan, where beauty is often paid the utmost attention to. And to further strengthen the dominance of Japanese cosmetics and skincare here in Malaysia, the third annual Japan Beauty Week was hosted.
Organised by the Japan Cosmetic Industry Association (JCIA) and supported by the Japan Embassy, Japan Beauty Week highlighted the innovations of Japanese cosmetics manufacturing technologies and showcased the unwavering quality extended by several Japanese household brands, including Kanebo, Kao, KOSE, Nippon Menard, Shiseido and Sunstar.
Japan Beauty Week is an annual affair that celebrates Japanese ingenuity in cosmetics and skincare.
