Paramount has just dropped a new and this time, full Ghost in the Shell trailer starring Scarlett Johansson as The Major. The live-adaptation of the classic manga written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow follows the Section 9 elite team as they take out dangerous extremists and high-tech criminals.
We only got a short glimpse of the upcoming sci-fi action film, in which Malaysian filmmaker Pete Teo is involved with, in the previous trailer, but we’re glad this new one is finally giving us a better look at director Rupert Sanders’ work. It also displays the scope of the film, including what Michael Pitt’s character would be like.
Ghost in the Shell opens March 30th 2017 in Malaysia and also stars Beat Takeshi, Pilou Asbæk, Juliette Binoche, Kaori Momoi, Rila Fukushima and more.
