Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston‘s romance was indeed short, but it sure did broke the internet last year when the duo were photographed kissing on the beach.
The pair split three months later, but nobody would ever be able to unsee Hiddleston in the ‘I <3 T.S.’ tank top. Guess what? He’s finally spoken about it in the March issue of American GQ..
As he spoke about his short-lived romance with Swift, Tom calls her “an amazing woman” and said “she’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.”
Regarding rumours about their relationship being a publicity stunt, Tom said, “Of course it was real.”
They both wanted a normal relationship, and he added, “So we decided to go out for dinner, we decided to travel… She’s incredible. [But] a relationship in the limelight… A relationship always takes work. And it’s not just the limelight. It’s everything else.”
He then addressed the ‘I <3 T.S.’ tank top..
“The truth is, it was the Fourth of July and a public holiday and we were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back.
“And I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and said, ‘Does anyone have a T-shirt?’ And one of her friends said, ‘I’ve got this.”
“The friend pulled out the ‘I heart T.S.’ tank top that Taylor’s squad all own. And we all laughed about it. It was a joke.” There you have it!
