Givenchy head Riccardo Tisci is departing after a successful 12-year run, proving to be one of the biggest fashion switch-ups as of late.
Tisci spoke of his departure, stating: “I have very special affection for the House of Givenchy and its beautiful teams. I want to thank the LVMH group and Monsieur Bernard Arnault for giving me the platform to express my creativity over the years.”
Tisci adds that his next plans would prioritise his “personal interests and passions” but Versace is rumoured to be eyeing the renown designer.
Some of his more talked about designs that have made headlines include Kim Kardashian’s dress for her 2015 wedding to Kanye West, and Beyoncé‘s 2015 Met Gala gown. Whatever his next endeavour is, we’re sure he’s going to lend his A-game as always.
