Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau is currently in Thailand for the shooting of a film, but things took a turn for the worst as he fell off a horse while filming a scene for a commercial.
He was riding the horse in the Takua Pa District when the mammal threw him off unexpectedly and stomped on him. The 55-year-old actor was unable to move and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Reports revealed that he suffered a pelvic laceration but has been receiving appropriate treatment needed.
According to an official statement by Topman Global Limited, a company under the Focus Group founded by Lau, he is doing fine. The statement read:

Mr Andy Lau, on January 17, 2017 in Thailand, had an accident while shooting commercials. He fell off a horse, resulting in a pelvic bone injury.
Mr Liu currently is in good care under a medical team, and is fine for now.

Lau is currently doing well, but would need at least six months to recover from the injury he sustained after the fall from a horse in Thailand. He suffered a pelvic bone injury on Jan 17 when filming a commercial at Khao Lak, three hours from Bangkok.
