Today in Kardashian news, Kim Kardashian had fans suffering from mini heart attacks last night. Or shall we simply say, “Kim”.
For a hot second, Kim Kardashian West’s display name on her social media accounts didn’t read as “Kim Kardashian West”. Instead, it was just “Kim”.
The downsizing from the three-word name to just one came as a shock, especially considering that she’s always been adamant about being Mrs. Kardashian West in interviews and the press since marrying Kanye.
Hoever, the one-name display didn’t last for long. Within minutes, both of Kim’s Twitter and Instagram was back to reading “Kim Kardashian West” along with an adorable post of Kanye with North and Saint West with a caption that read “family”. Y’know, like, “What divorce rumours?”
Life & Style had previously reported that the mother of two was seriously considering a divorce from the rapper because his actions were “hurting her brand”.
“She is finished,” an insider said. “She feels like his meeting with [Donald] Trump was a slap in the face. Kim has tried to protect Kanye from himself for years, but she can no longer do it.”
Fans noticed the change after the 36-year-old posted to her social media pages for the first time since early October. Kim Kardashian has remained silent ever since she was attacked in an armed robbery during Paris Fashion Week.
“They are going through a lot but from what it seems like, they are doing it together and getting through it,” a source told E! News last month, pointing out that a lack of public sightings meant absolutely nothing. Kim’s return to Instagram also confirms that life has slowly returned to normal enough for her to feel ready to pick up where she left off.
Whatever it is, I think we can all agree that social media just wasn’t the same without her. Welcome back, Kim!
