Snapchat just revealed four new features on its app and no lie, they’re pretty dang exciting. For those who haven’t got on this train, it’s high time you do.
One of the highlights of the update this time around is a group chat function which enables up to 16 people to chat together. Users can also message other people individually from the group, and with one tap, rejoin the whole crew. Other digital additions such as bitmojis and voice notes can also be used in the group chat.
Snapchat has also integrated a Shazam capability into its app so users can hold down the app’s camera to identify a song playing in their vicinity. When used, users can access a preview clip, see lyrics, watch the Vevo video or check out other recommended songs similar to the one Shazam-ed.
Finally, for all the creative masterminds out there, the Scissors feature allows you to cut out part of a photo and turn it into a custom sticker which can be stored for later use. This particular feature is now available on iOS, with an Android capability rolling out soon.
As if we weren’t already addicted to the app enough..
