Uh oh!
A lawsuit has been filed against actress Sofia Vergara by her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb over the frozen embryos from the time they were together. Loeb filed the lawsuit on behalf of the frozen embryos claiming that they have a right to live.
Loeb wants to garner full custody of the embryos which he has named as ‘Emma’ and ‘Isabella’, so that he can find a surrogate to plant the embryos and bring them to life. He also wants to set up a trust fund for them.
But Vergara has not given the consent to give custody of the embryos and wants the embryos to be frozen indefinitely as she doesn’t want anything to do with ex Loeb.
It is said that the lawsuit, which is filed in Louisiana, is just an attempt by Nick to stay in the press and gain publicity on the cost of Vergara. In an interview with Good Morning America, she stated, “I don’t want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this.”
We hope this issue would be resolved swiftly and both Vergara and Loeb can move on with peace, leaving Emma and Isabella frozen.
