Trying to get a ride home after a night out with no cash in hand? Don’t fret as Grab has introduced the new GrabPay credit option which enables you to pay for Grab rides via a cashless stored value option within the Grab app.
With this new GrabPay credit option, riders can top up their account from a wide variety of sources such as online top-up through online banking or at the thousands of top-up locations such as convenience stores. This is great and safer option as you don’t have to carry physical cash and also for riders who are hesitant to share their credit or debit card details.
Starting from December 5 2016, riders in Malaysia would be able to use this option as their method of payment. This option isn’t only limited to Malaysia as it will be rolling out to the whole of Southeast Asia in the coming weeks.
