Secret, rare, precious – the House of Dior’s distinctive Couture Spirit is the vision behind this holiday collection, aptly named as Splendor. This collection draws inspiration from the brilliance of Dior ateliers with sparkling sequins. This sophisticated femininity is liberated by a stunning palette of multiple facets and the rich pigmentation of matte and satiny hues that mix with flashes of gold, intoxicating champagnes, electrifying fuchsias and garnet reds. Created by Peter Philips, the look for this Holiday collection calls upon the quintessence of Dior – timeless femininity, beauty in motion, festive and free.
Splendor I, Diorific Matte Fluid, RM155 – Like a gift from Dior, the Diorific Matte Fluid is brand new and combines glamour with simplicity. This irresistibly delicate bottle harbors an incredibly fine texture that tinges lips and cheeks with a subtle, powdery veil of colour that results to an equally matte and radiant application. Its precision applicator provides perfect definition of colour on lips and cheeks for a discreet look or a sweep of bold passion. This limited edition Diorific Matte Fluid is available in 4 new shades – soft pink, flamboyant fuchsia, rosewood with a tinge of blue and fiery red.
Splendor II, Diorific Lipstick, RM135 – The Diorific Lipstick is reinvented this season in five rich and liberated shades with a powdery matte finish in a lightweight, luminous and comfortable film. The “manifesto” shades include a fleshy pink, an ardent berry, a flamboyant red and a delicate rosewood for uncompromising lip definition. A gold Dior collector, the jewel of the collection, is used in a swath of dense magnetic colour, or in touches at the center of the lips.
Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss, RM115 – At the heart of this colour experience, Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss explores its mirror shine in two shades: a dusty rose and an iridescent fuchsia for a touch of modern, carefree femininity.
Splendor III, Diorific Vernis, Rm105 – Diorific Vernis comes in five statement colours with sequined accords, around a pearly heart. A captivating palette of colours to flaunt a bold look, whether you dare a dark berry with a starry center, a garnet red with flashes of gold, or even a gold patina with metallic accents. As the finishing touch to this limited series, a glimmering “broken mirror” top coat can be used alone or over a richly pigmented enamel for heightened gleam.
Splendor IV, Dior 5 Couleurs Splendor, RM265 – In sync with the season, the emblematic Dior 5 Couleurs Splendor palette also carries the sequin motif inspired by the work of the Haute Couture ateliers. Available in two precious harmonies based on a gold patina or fresh gold effect, the “Smoky Sequins” features a couture gradation of white, silver and charcoal around a bronze gold, offering greater contrast for a hint of warmth in the eyes. The “Precious Embroidery” palette delivers tones of pink, mauve and violet around a champagne gold that highlights the iris and lights up the eyes with a festive spirit.
Diorshow Fusion Mono, RM135 – Like a flash of light on the lids, the Diorshow Fusion Mono brightens the eyes with a gorgeously luminous arctic white, or soft frosted chestnut for an alluring smoky eye effect.
Splendor V, Prestige Le Nectar Foundation, RM390 – Dior’s Prestige Le Nectar Foundation or Nectar de Teint promises a naturally plump look with a glowy finish. It is also the only foundation capable of providing the skin with all the suppleness, freshness and satin radiance of the Rose de Granville’s petals – the jewl of the Dior Gardens. Enriched with the Pearl of Petal complex, this ultra-perfecting formula with a fluid serum texture restores a natural plumpness to the skin upon application, with a satiny finish that catches the light. Day after day, the skin’s texture is softened and refined; instantly smoothed, the skin appears more beautiful and youthful, as if revitalized from within. The Nectar de Teint comes with a brush that is supple and dense, soft yet firm – specially designed for the most demanding skin.
Splendor VI, Diorific Splendor Powder, RM350 – For the first time, the Atelier Vermont, preferential partner of the House of Dior, has put its artistic embroidery expertise towards makeup, bringing to life the pattern created by Peter Philips – the Dior logo embroidered with a “thread” of gold sequin adornments. This collaboration between couture and beauty is revealed in the gold Diorific case, a pressed powder infused with gold light and embossed with the famous motif. Its exceptionally fine texture blends seamlessly with the skin, bathing facial features in gold radiance.
