After a ton of requests, social messaging app Whatsapp is finally rolling out a video call feature. It now works for some Android users, even without an update. With that said, anyone can try by installing the latest beta (2.16.318).
To use the feature, click on the camera icon next to your contacts and you’ll be able to place a video call, provided your friends have the feature too.
It’s wonderful for those with ample date, but Whatsapp users would probably stick to texting unless they are on WiFi connection.
Perhaps it’s now more convenient as users need not switch back and forth between different apps to text or make video calls!
