Longchamp will be revealing a new Pop Up concept in Malaysia at The Gardens Mall this November. The Longchamp L’atelier, introduced for the first time in Malaysia, will bring a unique customer experience that showcases the brand’s exceptional know-how with elegance and modernity to commemorate the launch of its new line, Paris Premier.
French luxury House Longchamp was founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain, and is still owned and run by the Cassegrain family today. Longchamp’s handbags, luggage and accessories have a worldwide reputation for craftsmanship and quality, which now extends to shoes and ready-to-wear collections. The brand had an exceptional vision when it inaugurated its first Paris boutique in 1998 on Rue Saint-Honoré in the 1st arrondissement (a subdivision of the commune, used in the three largest cities: Paris, Lyon, and Marseille). Now, Longchamp commemorates the district with a new iconic bag called the Paris Premier.

Raw materials, artisans, workshop pictures as well as craftsmanship specific animation videos will be showcased for the public at the pop up concept. Longchamp’s success depends on using the finest materials and scrutiny of different artisans before it is complete. With intricate accuracy, artisans stitch, attach and assemble pieces to create this square tote lined with cashmere soft leather. Little touches of metal on leather, hand-stitched zipper pulls and folds of leather where the handles meet the Paris Premier bags proves the brand’s remarkable DNA – flawless quality and strong lines.
