Holding and putting together a concert or a showcase is never easy. Not to mention expensive. Plus, if it rains on your parade, well, tough luck. But as with most problems, there are ways and solutions to work around it.
Maxis has found the perfect remedy for the resounding issues of live performances, made possible through their “Maxis Cloud Services”.
For the first time ever, Maxis Communications Berhad’s prepaid service, Hotlink, is going to host a “People Powered” virtual concert with one of Malaysia’s music industry’s most familiar and extremely talented artistes, the sweet and beautiful Yuna.
The event will require viewers to pre-book spots on the website like how you would be required to buy tickets for a concert prior to the event. The catch is that there are only 10,000 spots available. Yuna’s virtual concert will be held on the 14th of December 2011, streamed live via the website and right into your desktops or laptops at exactly 8pm!
Yuna, who has a strong social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, expressed that she was simply ecstatic about the project.
“I’m really glad to be part of this project with Hotlink. It really is a unique effort to engaged and collaborate with the online community. There are a few more fun bits that viewers and the public can get involved in, but we will reveal it when the times comes!”, she said.
When the day comes (we can’t wait!), pre-booked viewers will have to logon between 7pm and 7:59pm to experience the exclusive online performance by Yuna. We also hear that she might treat lucky viewers to a yet-to-be-released track!
So, do you want to be one of the first few Malaysians to hear it? Go here to pre-book your spots now!
