Casio takes selfies to a whole new level with the unveiling of the FR200 outdoor recording gear and ZR5000 compact digital camera, both part of Casio’s Exilim family.
The new FR200 captures a 180-degree Dome View image with a press of a button, capturing the whole background no matter the angle of the view. Ideal for capturing exciting experiences outdoors, the FR200 also takes 360-degree horizontal panorama as well as a 208-degree diagonal Super Wide Angle photos and videos.
In addition, the waterproof, freeze-proof and impact resistant camera offers versatility for any kind of scene or activity. The camera unit and controller can be either be detached, be set up to face the same way for selfies, or in a camera configuration with the body folded.
On the other hand, the ZR5000 features a 19mm super wide-angle lens to deliver high-impact scenic photographs, selfies or wefies, capturing way more in one frame. With the Wide View Photo mode, the camera can be set to automatically capture both a zoomed-in and zoomed-out wide-angle still image, thus enabling users to make the most out of their snaps.
The ZR5000 is also designed with a bright F2.7 moulded glass lens for sharper images by correcting optical aberration, reducing surface reflection and ghosting. For even more enhanced selfies, the ZR5000 comes equipped with a tilt-able LCD screen and a makeup mode that beautifies the skin while bringing out clarity of the face features.
The Casio Exilim FR200 retails at RM2399 whereas the ZR5000 is priced at RM1949. Both models will be available in the market by the end of October 2016.
