Resident Evil fanatics, take note!
Since the first movie premiered back in 2002, Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson‘s Resident Evil franchise has had a pretty good box office run. Unfortunately, that will be coming to an end with its sixth and final instalment, fittingly titled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
The movie was based on Japan’s infamous survival/horror themed video game, Biohazard. It features a first-person shooter with way more than just zombies to slaughter and since it’s garnered such a strong fan base, Hollywood decided to take it to the big screens, making the gaming experience more phenomenal.
Almost 15 years after the original film’s release, Alice (Milla Jovovich) finally gets to meet the Red Queen and gets told that she needs to race back to The Hive and stop Umbrella from destroying everything in the new film. The new trailer sure looks promising–and it should be–considering fans have been waiting for a conclusion to this movie franchise for ages.
There’s a reason why Milla Jovovich has become a household name–girl can act, and she slays all the way too! Her co-stars include Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon-Gi, William Levy, and Iain Glen.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter opens in theatres on January 2017.
