Estée Lauder Companies Unite For The Fight Against Breast Cancer

This Pink October, the Estée Lauder Companies’ have launched its Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign to celebrate the power of global solidarity by encouraging the public around the globe to “Take Action Together to Defeat Breast Cancer.” With that, the campaign calls for unity in action on BCAcampaign.com, while supporting lifesaving breast cancer research.

Over the past two decades, this BCA Campaign has been a leading voice for breast cancer awareness, igniting a worldwide movement that has helped save millions of lives and fund breast cancer research. Today, the BCA Campaign is active in over 70 countries, and has raised more than $65 million to support global research, education and medical services, with more than $50 million funding 200 BCRF medical research grants globally over the past 22 years.

These funds help accelerate critical research in areas such as tumor biology, heredity and ethnicity, lifestyle and prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis. The BCA Campaign partners with more than 60 breast cancer organisations around the world, and this year, the campaign is committed to raising $6 million in support of its mission to defeat breast cancer.

Each individual has the power to make a difference, and the BCA Campaign aims to spotlight an impact of togetherness by connecting influencers to bring their diverse backgrounds to its global community. These influencers will share an array of tips, advice and resources designed to encourage actions that inspire, support and promote health and wellness.

The BCA Campaign website will showcase powerful and educational content from voices in the breast cancer community, providing tangible ways for people to take action and create meaningful change. Iconic brands of the Estée Lauder Companies like Estée Lauder and La Mer are also coming together in support of the BCA Campaign’s mission:

1. Estée Lauder Pink Perfection Color Collection; RM240

The new color collection features a makeup palette in four Pure Color Envy Eye Shadows, one Pure Color Envy Blush, and one full-size Pure Color Envy Lipstick, all in the brand’s best-selling shades. These products come in a pink zip around fabric case with a mirror.

2. La Mer The Lip Balm; RM240

Packaged in a limited edition case for Pink October, the Lip Balm is made with aa reparative formula that softens roughness, relieves discomfort and helps rejuvenate really dry lips. It is also infused with La Mer’s nutrient-rich Miracle Broth™ to renew the delicate lip area while the Lip Lipid Complex strengthen’s the lips’ moisture barrier to prevent further damage.

Other activities that will be held in Malaysia include a photography exhibition with the theme ‘Take Action Together to Defeat Breast Cancer’, the Feel Better Beauty Workshop which will be held on 25th October in Penang, a fundraising Pink Ribbon Charity Golf event that is open to all on 19th October 2016 at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, as well as an online donation drive.
