We hope this isn’t true as well, but multiple sources, including TMZ and CNN have confirmed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are indeed filing for a divorce. The two cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason. The date of separation is listed as September 15, 2016.
Some sources tell TMZ that Angelina’s decision has to do with the way Brad parents the children. The sources also claim that Angelina grew tired of Brad’s involvement with weed and possibly alcohol, combined with an anger problem.
Other sources report that the chemistry between Pitt and his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard could be the reason behind the divorce.
This dream couple have been together since 2004, after meeting on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith and instantly hitting it off. They are married for two years, and are parents to Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. Jolie wants full custody for all of them, suggesting visitation rights for Pitt.
Previously married to Jennifer Aniston, this is Pitt’s second marriage, and Jolie’s third marriage, following splits from Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
