The second half of 2011 has been quite a journey for Malaysia from the political field to the sports arena. Some cheered, some jeered but one thing’s for sure: there were many lessons to be learnt, some faiths were renewed and some lost.
Needless to say, with human rights being the heated topic of discussion of late again, the final Arts of Grabs of the year is bound to be unforgettable to many with its Human Rights Day theme proudly sponsored by Amnesty International Malaysia at The Annexe Gallery this 10th and 11th of December 2011.
As you already know, “Arts for Grabs” is held every three months at The Annexe Gallery and is Kuala Lumpur’s most happening art bazaar cum mini arts fest so if you haven’t done your Christmas shopping yet, take advantage of this fest to score some mean quirky crafts all under RM100 for your loved ones.
Besides, do you really want to give your friends another generic mug or photo frame?
After you’re done picking out creative goodies, immerse yourself in the events brought to you by our local heroes who seek to bring revolution to our nation’s human rights! From singing performances to talks to films, come one, come all and show your support. If you’ve always been on the fence, now’s a good time to get educated on your rights.
