Laneige collaborates with trendsetting fashion designers annually for Laneige Meets Fashion – a project that fuses fashion and beauty to present them as one overall trend. The 2016 series of Laneige Meets Fashion is in partnership with Lucky Chouette, a second line from Korean fashion label Jardin de Chouette that is adored by Korean celebrities and influencers.
Chouette ultimately means owl in French and Lucky Chouette takes an esoteric style stance with its amalgamation of street style and artsy graffiti graphics. For this limited edition, Lucky Chouette also unveiled two new chouettes – Bella and Vely Chouette, designed exclusively for the 2016 Laneige Meets Fashion.
Portraying two varying personalities, Bella Chouette is eloquent, confident and enthusiastic, whereas Vely Chouette is shy and introverted. The two chouettes are showcased as the main design for the Laneige x Lucky Chouette products, which include the new Serum Drop Tint, BB Cushion (Whitening and Pore Control), and a Multi-Colour Palette.
The Serum Drop Tint (RM75) contains Berry Mix Complex™, vitamin C and anti-oxidants while giving off vivid pigment and gloss. This moisturising, liquid-type serum oil tint also comes with a triangle-shaped applicator designed for effortless and precise application. It is available in 10 sassy colours.
On the other hand, the Multi-Colour Palette (RM120) features a gorgeous chouette stamp with the charm of Bella Chouette and the shyness of Vely Chouette which doubles up as eyeshadow and highlighter with shades of coral, tangerine, white, pink and baby blue.
Both the Whitening and Pore Control BB Cushion (RM159) underwent a facelift and reformulation for 2016. With 3D Skin Fit Cushion, Super Flex Lasting and Hydro Ion Mineral Water, the Whitening BB Cushion offers ultimate brightness and radiance, whereas the Pore Control BB Cushion keeps the skin matte for hours with its two-step oil control system.
The Laneige x Lucky Chouette limited edition lineup will be available at all Laneige boutiques and counters from September 2016.
