In the past, its full QWERTY siblings have won people over and over again. Not only because it was often positioned as the most “value” BlackBerry gadget in the market. But also because the BlackBerry Curve’s range often embodies small and pocketable, with a playful (and some say childlike) exterior. It’s something you would imagine a high school-er owning. Though we can’t begin to fathom why kids in high school would need a smartphone just yet.
We digress!
Like its siblings, the new BlackBerry Curve 9380 is small and pocketable. Like its siblings, it’s affordable. But unlike its siblings, the BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the first touch-only device in the Curve family. Yes, say bye bye to QWERTY.
Taking a fresh approach (and perhaps a few deep breaths), the amazingly slim BlackBerry Curve 9380 features a 3.2-inch screen and runs on a 800MHz processor. Which basically means faster loading time for the handy lil thing!
Also, and this we have to add, the new BlackBerry Curve 9380 will feature the BlackBerry® 7 OS. Important because that is essentially the very thing (aside from the processor) that will give its user a smoother smartphone experience:
We want so much not to call it an “entry level” BlackBerry smartphones because of its awesome touchscreen capabilities, on top of its pretty amazing specifications.
