Yes, that’s not a joke. Calpis, Japan’s first cultured milk drink has collaborated with Waze to launch the first-ever Malaysian singing voice navigation on Waze, featuring none other than homegrown international artiste, Yuna. No need to fear heavy traffic anymore!
This is also in line with Calpis’ launch of the new grape flavour in Malaysia. Aside from being able to enjoy the smooth and creamy goodness that Calpis brings, the Yuna-Waze voice navigation campaign is a great addition, bringing back the festive mood and happy celebrations that Malaysians enjoy.
“I’m excited and I hope to bring a little goodness to my fans who are stuck in traffic,” Yuna said about the campaign. “I also hope that Malaysians stay safe on the roads. Keep calm in traffic, take breaks on long journeys and have some Calpis in between to refresh yourselves,” she adds.
Edward Ling, Sales Manager of Waze Malaysia adds on to that, saying, “Celebrity voice prompts are one of our more unique features and a great way to add some fun to a drive. Yuna’s beautiful singing voice is sure to do just that, surprising and delighting drivers at every turn.”
To enable your Yuna-Waze voice navigation, go to your Waze app and select the “menu” option, then click on “settings”. Under “setting”, select the “sound” option and select “English (UK) – Yuna” by Calpis.
