Five years after its last installment of seemingly impossible missions, the action series returns once again. Dubbed “Ghost Protocol”, Mission Impossible 4 continues the success of two-time Academy Award®-winner director Brad Bird with producers Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams.
(Fun fact: It was originally codenamed “Aries” during early production)
In this action-packed, thrilling installment, Tom Cruise kicks it as IMF operative Ethan Hunt when the IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin. Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin (which the Russian government categorizes as “an undeclared act of war”), Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates “Ghost Protocol”.
Ethan then leads his four-person team as they’re forced to go rogue to clear their organization’s name. Like a true hero.
By the way, that’s an awesome theme song to that trailer (Eminem ft. Pink’s “Won’t Back Down”). Just saying!
Of course, no “Mission Impossible” spy-action adventure is complete without further complications. Left without any resources of backup, the “star of the show” drop-dead-gorgeous Ethan must find a way to clear his agency’s name and prevent another attack.
At the same time, he is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he doesn’t fully know.
Gasp. Tough!
Oh, and we digress (just slightly) but we also hear that there will be a number of BMW cars that are set to be featured in the movie.
And how is it possible for Tom Cruise to look like that at the age of..old? Seriously, hot Ethan, hot cars, what else can any normal functioning moviegoer ask for?
We know!
