A Singapore Airlines plane en route to Milan caught fire this morning while making an emergency landing in Singapore. The plane, SQ368 took off at 2.05 am, but had to turn back after receiving a warning message regarding engine oil.
Upon touchdown, the plane’s right engine caught fire. The emergency team rushed to the plane to put out the fire, while passengers and crew onboard had to wait for several minutes not knowing if they will make it out alive.
Thankfully, all the 222 passengers and 19 crew members onboard managed to get out of the plane safe and sound. Further investigations are still ongoing.
